Summary Terms and Conditions:

We will provide you with our detailed Rental Agreement prior to booking. However, we realise you will be visiting us for a holiday and therefore we try to keep our terms as simple and reasonable as possible. Although these documents include some statutory and House Rules, our Rental Agreement & our Pet Agreement are to protect your interests & safety, safeguard our property and protect our local environment / community.

Low Season: 4 April - 3 July 2026 and 30 August - 23 October 2026

High Season: 4 July - 29 August 2026

Our minimum rental period is 5 nights in low season from April - June and September - October.

In July and August the minimum rental period is 7 nights and arrival days are normally Saturday only.

Arrival time is 17h30 and departure time is 9h30. We will be as flexible as possible with these times when there are no subsequent arrivals.

At the request of a number of returning guests with allergies we regret that we do not accept pets.

We are aware that many guests prefer to bring their own linen with them when traveling to holiday cottages. Therefore linen is excluded from our rentals. Blankets, duvets, pillows, mattress protectors etc are provided in each bedroom. If you prefer us to provide bed linen we can do so for a small additional cost. This will be confirmed at the time of your reservation enquiry.

Bathroom and pool towels are not provided.

Clleaning fees are excluded from your rental. We will disinfect the property after you leave. Therefore you must leave the house in the same condition as on your arrival. An additional cost will be incurred if this is not done.

We welcome clients with electric / hybrid vehicles. However due to our electrical wiring infrastructure and house insurance policies we are not able to provide or allow charging at the houses. Car charging is available in the village, opposite the supermarket and in all local towns.

Smoking is allowed outside each of the main buildings. Smoking is not allowed within any of the buildings.

Please ensure you have suitable holiday insurance and see our cancellation policy in our contract documents.

All prices exclude VAT / TVA and Taxe de Sejour (TdS). VAT / TVA is not currently charged on gite accommodation / short-term holiday cottage rental. The TdS is charged by the local community as a ‘Stay Tax’ and is collected by us, on their behalf, in cash upon your arrival. It may vary, but is typically charged at 2.20€ per adult, per night. We will confirm the charge to you before booking.

Booking payment terms are generally 50% at time of reservation. The balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. At present we accept payment by bank transfer or cheque. We are unable to accept credit cards or travel cheques. A security deposit (Caution) against potential damage will be required at the time of arrival. Detailed Terms & Conditions will be provided to you for you to sign as part of your reservation contract, prior to a booking being confirmed.

The main renter must be 25 years or older and must be in the group at the time of arrival.

Our properties are designed for comfort and we want you to have fun when you visit. You are certainly welcome to use them for family celebrations but they're not ‘Party Houses’. No additional visitors are allowed to stay overnight as guests unless declared at the time of booking.
